Faith SW is a multi-generational church family committed to following Jesus and sharing His love throughout Amarillo. From Sunday worship to community outreach, we want every person to know they belong and have a place to serve.

This Week at Faith SW
We are gathering food for needy clients for Janetta Bitting to give out at the JO Wyatt Clinic. Here is the need this week:
This week’s needs are Beanie Weenies, Ragu, cornbread packets or boxes, chili, powdered milk, enchilada sauce, canned potatoes, fruit cocktail, canned chicken, corn, rice, dried pinto beans, chicken broth, Hungry Jack Pancake Mix, Manwich, Vienna sausage, Chef Boyardee or spaghetti, Veg-all, individual-sized applesauce, and snack pack pudding.

Ministry
A new ministry assisting our members and friends with handyman tasks at home. Volunteers offer minor repairs and maintenance—from light bulbs, smoke alarm batteries, and HVAC filters to toilets, faucets, and fences; some also help with computer, audio, and video needs. You provide parts and materials; we supply the labor at no charge.

Thank you, Faith SW, for supporting Teachers PETS as they delivered supplies to Sanborn Elementary School on Monday, Aug. 10. Your generosity helps teachers and students begin the school year equipped and encouraged.

The Good News Grillers provide lunch for schools and campuses that do not have PTA, PTO, or other sponsoring support. During the 2026–2027 school year we’ll serve 14 school campuses and two special Faith Southwest events, bringing hot food, Christ-centered encouragement, and joyful hospitality to teachers, staff, and neighbors.
From August through May, the Grillers rotate through 14 Amarillo-area school campuses that lack PTA or PTO support, delivering a hot meal and Christ-centered encouragement to teachers and staff. We’ll also bring the grill to Faith Southwest for special events when hospitality is needed.
On Wednesday, Sept. 9, the Grillers provided a burger lunch at AACAL, and FSW Women provided desserts.
This year’s special church stops included the Back to School event on Aug. 16 and continue with Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31.

Midweek Focus
WNF gathers our church family for dinner and Life Groups as the fall season begins.
Join us Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026 for dinner at 6:00 PM. The meal is Chicken alfredo, then Life Groups begin at 6:30 PM.
