Thank you for your generosity in Pack the Packs! We prayed over these supplies on Sunday, Aug. 9, and are delivering them to local schools.
These supplies will help Teachers PETS support teachers and students at Sanborn Elementary School. Thank you for helping meet a practical need with care.

Back to School Bash with Good News Grillers lunch follows at 11:00 AM. Bring a favorite dessert to share.
Ministry
A new ministry assisting our members and friends with handyman tasks at home. Volunteers offer minor repairs and maintenance—from light bulbs, smoke alarm batteries, and HVAC filters to toilets, faucets, and fences; some also help with computer, audio, and video needs. You provide parts and materials; we supply the labor at no charge.

Our grill team serves hot lunches and gospel-centered encouragement to Amarillo schools that lack PTA or PTO support, as well as church gatherings and special events. Join us as we meet practical needs with joyful hospitality.

Thank you, Faith SW, for supporting Teachers PETS as they delivered supplies to Sanborn Elementary School on Monday, Aug. 10. Your generosity helps teachers and students begin the school year equipped and encouraged.

Ask About Serving →Good News Grillers
The Good News Grillers provide lunch for schools and campuses that do not have PTA, PTO, or other sponsoring support. During the 2026–2027 school year we’ll serve 14 school campuses and two special Faith Southwest events, bringing hot food, Christ-centered encouragement, and joyful hospitality to teachers, staff, and neighbors.
From August through May, the Grillers rotate through 14 Amarillo-area school campuses that lack PTA or PTO support, delivering a hot meal and Christ-centered encouragement to teachers and staff. We’ll also bring the grill to Faith Southwest for special events when hospitality is needed.
This year’s special church stops include the Back to School event on Aug. 16 and Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31.

Midweek Focus
WOW brings our church family together for dinner, life groups, and midweek encouragement.
WOW is on summer break right now and will return at the end of August. Stay tuned for updated dinner, group, and schedule details as we get closer to launch.

We celebrated what God has done through VBS during our single 10:00 AM worship service on July 19.

The Bloodmobile will be at Faith Southwest Methodist Church. Give the gift of life and help support patients through Our Blood Institute.
